Divaris Real Estate Announces $13 Million and 231,610 Square Feet in Completed Transactions for October 2018

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 44 transactions totaling $13,185,841 and 231,610 square feet of sold, leased and renewed commercial property in the Hampton Roads, Lynchburg and Richmond, Virginia, Oakland, Tennessee and metropolitan Washington, DC markets in October 2018.

 

Sales Transactions

  • 1800 Wilson, LLC has purchased 4,290 square feet of restaurant space at 1800 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, Va., from Dominion Café Group for $2.3 million.  Joe Farina and Chris Saa brokered the sale on behalf of the seller.
  • PMG Investors, LLC purchased one acre of land at 3336 Holland Road in Virginia Beach from Daniel E. Poston for $982,800.  David Redmond brokered the deal for the seller.
  • 9004 Huguenot Road, LLC purchased a 2,995-square-foot, former BB&T bank branch building on 1.09 acres of land at 9004 Huguenot Road in Richmond from Branch Banking and Trust Company for $350,000.  Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the buyer.
  • Lease Transactions 
    • Kmart Corporation negotiated a lease termination on 88,000 square feet of retail space at 2315 Wards Road in Lynchburg, Va.  Sam McCoy represented the tenant.
    • Prosper Insurance Group leased 17,396 square feet of office space in the Sabre IV office building at 2929 Sabre Street in Virginia Beach.  Jason Oliver and Vivian Turok represented the tenant.
    • SIS, Inc. leased 11,208 square feet of office space in Oceana Place at 448 Viking Drive in Virginia Beach.  Elizabeth Paasch represented the tenant.
    • American Family Care leased 3,760 square feet of retail space in Hampton Roads Crossing at 1013 University Boulevard in Suffolk, Va.  Levi Thomson represented the landlord.
    • Jones Sign Co. leased 2,859 square feet of office space in Lynnhaven Corporate Center II at 760 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach.  Vivian Turok and Elizabeth Paasch represented the landlord.
